East Coast Pumpkin Patch

Hey guys! 🍁 If you’re anything like me, the absolute second September rolls around and the air gets even a little bit crisp, my entire personality becomes "fall road trips and pumpkin patches." If you're looking to plan the ultimate autumn getaway on the East Coast this year, I've rounded up five absolute must-visit spots that you need on your radar right now. Let’s dive in!

1. Treworgy Family Orchards (Levant, Maine)

This place was actually named the top pumpkin patch in the entire country by USA Today, and it totally lives up to the hype. You can wander through massive fields with over 60 different kinds of pumpkins and gourds. Grab your friends and hop on a horse-drawn hayride across their 42-acre property, say hi to the animals, and definitely don't skip their giant corn maze or fresh-pressed apple cider.

2. The Great Pumpkin Farm (Clarence, New York)

If you want a full day of non-stop entertainment, this is your spot. There are endless fields of pumpkins to pick from, a sprawling 5-acre corn maze to get lost in, and you can even watch the crazy World Pumpkin Weigh-Off. Kids will love the amusement rides and reptile shows, while the older crowd can hang out at the Witches Brew Bar with a seasonal brew and a cider donut.

3. Heaven Hill Farm’s Great Pumpkin Festival (Vernon, New Jersey)

They pack over 35 different fall attractions into this festival, so you will definitely not be bored. You can take a hayride straight out to the vines to pick your own pumpkin, watch some hilarious pig races, and catch a magic show. Between the giant slides, pedal cars, and amazing photo ops against the changing leaves, your phone storage is going to take a hit.

4. Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival (Christiansburg, Virginia)

Sinkland Farms has been doing this for decades, and the mountain backdrop makes it one of the prettiest places you'll ever visit. You can take a haywagon out to the 10-acre pumpkin patch, conquer the corn maze, or even go on a horseback trail ride. On the weekends, the atmosphere is amazing—think live music, food trucks, local wine and beer on the terrace, and pumpkin cannons!

5. Boone Hall Plantation Pumpkin Patch (Mount Pleasant, South Carolina)

Just a short drive from Charleston, this is easily one of the best fall events in the Southeast. You get to take a tractor-drawn hayride down gorgeous, moss-draped historic pathways straight to the pumpkin patch. With a giant corn maze, rubber duck races, jump pads, and live performances, it’s such a fun, warm-weather way to celebrate the season.

Have you been to any of these spots, or are you planning a trip to one of them this year? Let me know which one tops your list! 🎃✨
